Maths Olympiad results are in!

The final results of the Australasian Problem Solving Maths Olympiad were recently received by the school, and what a fabulous outcome for all of our students! Thirty students from the 5/6 level participated and over a period of six months competed in five competitions against over 25 000 other students world wide. The team achieved fantastic results in this huge endeavour and Mrs Pickburn was proud to accept an outstanding achievement award from the team for scoring in the top 10% of all schools. This also resulted in Roberts McCubbin Primary School being listed in the 2009 Awards Honour Roll. Judd F. also accepted the highest individual score trophy for his score of 24 out of 25. In addition 11 students received awards for being in the top 10% of individual scores and 22 students received awards for being in the top 25% of individual scores. The school would like to congratulate all our mathematics stars in this fabulous result.
